Hold the lighter in your dominant hand with your thumb on the bottom and your index and middle fingers on the top.
Position your thumb on the flint wheel, which is the serrated metal wheel on the top of the lighter.
Firmly grip the body of the lighter with your index and middle fingers.
Apply pressure with your thumb and roll the flint wheel downward quickly to create a spark.
While rolling the flint wheel, simultaneously press the red button (which controls the flow of fuel) with the base of your thumb.
The lighter should now produce a flame. Adjust the flame size by moving the red button up or down.
To extinguish the flame, simply release the red button, cutting off the fuel supply.
Remember to always use lighters responsibly, and never leave them within the reach of children or pets.
